AP® Biology Teacher Resources

There’s no doubt about it–AP® Biology teachers are impressive. Not only do they come to class every day with well-planned and engaging lessons to help their students learn, but they also plan out these lessons using the best resources, which are usually found on their own time. These AP Biology teacher resources strengthen classroom instruction, so educators rely on them for AP Bio course planning. This is the very reason for the compiled list of quality AP Biology teacher websites our team of former AP teachers and UWorld Learning Tools for AP Courses authors have curated for you.

Tips for Finding Quality AP Biology Teacher Resources

When discovering new resources to supplement your AP Biology lesson plans and instruction, it’s necessary to make sure they are trustworthy. Here are a few ways you can ensure your resources are high quality!

  • Use resources produced by content area experts. AP educators, published journals, and educational resource companies are more credible than people who do not have a strong background in academics. For example, UWorld’s Learning Tools for AP Courses only include materials written by former AP educators and content area experts.
  • Share resources with other educators in your district’s AP network. In addition to sharing resources with colleagues at your school, you can also network with other AP teachers in your district when you go to professional development sessions for your content area.
  • Use textbooks. Many textbooks have online versions that allow teachers to find the resources they need, easily. Furthermore, digital versions of textbooks are more reliable than their printed counterparts since they are updated regularly.

For teachers who want to enhance their AP instruction with a quality resource, UWorld’s Learning Tools for AP Courses is an innovative program that helps students strengthen their understanding of course concepts needed for AP success. Discover how we can help your AP program today.
